A wedding in white, from church to reception

White in every register, from morning until late. At the church entrance, two tall white urns of roses, hydrangea and lisianthus framed the bride's approach, with candles and a white runner carrying the line through to the ceremony. At the reception, a canopy of lanterns hung over the round tables. The arrangements were kept low and white-green so guests could meet each other's eyes across the table, with tapers supplying the height instead. The venue's own bougainvillea was left as the only strong note of colour — nothing else was needed.
